The school hosted a farewell ceremony on Saturday, 18th September, 2021 to bid adieu to the Hon’ble Chairman, Vice Admiral Retd. Parvesh Jaitley.
On the momentous occasion, Hon’ble Chairman, Salwan Education Trust, Trustees, Members of School Managing Committee, Directors, and Heads of all Salwan Schools and teachers were present to mark the honour.
The Programme commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Hon’ble Chairman Trust Shri Sushil Dutt Salwan Ji read the citation briefing about his infallible commitment to excellence and substantial contributions in the field of Science, Environment, Sports and Innovation. On this occasion the Principal, Ms. Sunita Madan, reiterated, “Jaitley Ji has been a focused leader who believed in going an extra mile to ensure students’ success in this competitive scenario.’’ The senior teacher Mr. Devender Bhatt on behalf of faculty shared some nostalgic and fond memories paying true honour to the chairman.
Secretary SET, Shri Paramjeet Khanna Ji, proposed vote of thanks and talked about Admiral Jaitley who always motivated students to think “out of the box”, and not to allow their limitations to deprive them of the opportunity and thereby enrich their community.
