On April 9, 2024, the Science and Innovation Fest celebrated curiosity, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge, embodying the spirit of problem-solving, out-of-the-box thinking and solution-finding.
The fest was honoured with the presence of dignitaries such as Sh. Paramjit Khanna , Secretary, Salwan Education Trust, Sh. Sanjay Agrawal, Chairman, Salwan Public School, TDSC, Sh. Sudhir Nandra Jog, Vice Chairman , SPS TDSC and Sh. Anurag Gupta, CEO of STEM Robo, Ms. Garima Babbar, Head Asia Pacific, Adobe and Dr. Atul Nischal, Founder & Director, ICSL.
The welcome address delivered by Shri Paramjit Khanna, highlighted the importance of innovation for national development, and Shri Sanjay Aggarwal, who shared profound insights into the future of education and innovation.
A series of performances, including a transformative dance odyssey and a musical journey, captivated the audience, celebrating the legacy and evolution of art forms alongside scientific innovation. The fest also featured exhibitions such as “The Spark of Ingenuity” and the AI Robotic Challenge, showcasing the ingenuity of young innovators.
The fest featured a panel discussion moderated by the school principal, Ms. Sunita Madan on “Encouraging youth to explore and innovate for a future-ready India.’’ It valuable insights into fostering a culture of creativity and innovation among the youth. Keynote address by Sh. Anurag Gupta offered perspectives on the role of innovation in shaping the future. He reiterated the importance of four aspects to get ahead in life, i.e. mindset, heartset, healthset and soulset. A quiz, ‘’Wellness Quest’’ was conducted by Ms. Bhavya Jain, the school counsellor.
The fest concluded with a vote of thanks by the school director, Brigadier Sh. Rajiv Minocha, acknowledging the contributions of all participants, guests and organizers. The event not only celebrated scientific achievements but also inspired a new generation of innovators to dream big and contribute to a future where innovation and creativity lead the way.
