Children’s Day was celebrated on Monday, November 15, 2021 with a great fervor and gaiety at Salwan Public School Ghaziabad to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawarhar Lal Nehru who emphasized the importance of giving love and affection to children, the bright future of India. To make the day special, the teachers conducted a myriad of activities.It was exhilarating to see the students enjoying all the fun activities conducted by the teachers. The immensely jovial and zestful faces of the children made the ‘Class Party’ a memorable one.
The celebration continued with a story telling session wherein the Hindi teacher narrated a wonderful story and engrossed the students with her voice modulation and effective use of props. Their spinning laughter was the proof of the joy and fun they experienced during the session. The programme concluded with the inspirational address by the Principal, Mrs. Sunita Madan who encouraged the students to dream big and work hard.
