The project ‘Veer Gatha’ launched by the Ministry of Defence aimed at making school students aware of the gallantry award winners, honour the acts of bravery and sacrifice of India’s brave-hearts, celebrate the valiance and courage of armed forces, army officers and personnel.
This research-based national level competition was divided into four categories-III-V, VI-VIII, IX-X & XI-XII wherein students were asked to submit essays, poetry, paintings or any multimedia presentation based on the life of gallantry awardees. Each presentation included insightful examples, arguments and details. Best entries in each category were uploaded on CBSE portal.
